PAX Legal Clinic is a faith-based pro-bono ministry that provides free legal assistance to individuals and families across Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne, with a focus on debt and credit issues, housing and tenancy matters, Centrelink disputes, and personal safety concerns.

We are committed to supporting people facing hardship, uncertainty, or disadvantage - including those experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness, individuals with disabilities, carers, LGBT+ people seeking safety, sex workers facing coercion, exploitation or threats and people on student or work visas experiencing exploitation or abuse.

Guided by Orthodox Christian principles of justice, mercy, and service to neighbour (Matthew  9:10-13), we strive to improve access to justice and provide clear, practical legal support to every person who seeks our help.

We offer free legal advice and, where appropriate, referrals to community organisations and legal practitioners who may be able to assist further. Every person is treated with dignity, compassion, professionalism, and respect.
